Katy Chess Explorers (K-1) with Coach Elena
Starting September 18th, this 12-week course (currently prorated for the 9 weeks remaining) is perfect for young beginners eager to explore the world of chess. Led by Coach Elena, a seasoned instructor from Ukraine with a deep passion for teaching little ones, this course introduces chess in a fun and engaging way. Coach Elena brings years of experience working with kids and is the mastermind behind the interactive journals used in our lessons. Katy Chess Builders (2nd & Up) with Coach Elena
From September 18th to December 11th, this 12-week course (currently prorated for the 9 weeks remaining), led by the exceptional Coach Elena, is designed to solidify the fundamentals of chess while accommodating even intermediate players. Coach Elena’s expertise ensures that students not only learn the rules but also develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. With a curriculum in progress and interactive journals at the heart of the program, your child will receive a well-rounded chess education. Ideal for both beginners and those looking to strengthen their chess skills. Learn more about Coach Elena here. Classes take place every Wednesday from 5:20 PM - 6:20 PM.

Course Dates:
Both the Explorers and Builders courses will run every Wednesday from September 18 to December 11. Please note, there will be no class during Thanksgiving week.
