Sugar Land Chess Explorers (K-2) with Coach Byjorn
Starting September 19th, this 12-week course (currently prorated for the 6 remaining classes) is perfect for young beginners and intermediate students eager to dive into the world of chess. Led by Coach Byjorn, who ranks in the top 3% of all players in Texas, this course introduces chess in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. With years of experience teaching children, Coach Byjorn makes learning chess enjoyable and accessible for students of all ages. Whether your child is just learning the basics or building on their skills, this class will set them on an exciting journey of discovery. Sugar Land Chess Builders (3rd Grade & Up) with Coach John
From September 19th to December 19th, this 12-week course (currently prorated for the 6 remaining classes) is designed for intermediate and advanced players looking to sharpen their chess skills. Led by Coach John, a chess expert who ranks in the top 1% of all players in Texas, this course will help students not only master the rules but develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ideal for students who have a grasp on the basics and want to take their chess game to the next level. With a curriculum tailored to challenge and inspire, this course is perfect for older students and more advanced players. Course Dates:
Both the Explorers and Builders courses will run every Thursday from September 19th to December 12th. Please note, there will be no class during Thanksgiving week.
